A Prayer for Courage During a Major Change

A Christianity prayer for strength.

Lord God, change can be frightening because it asks me to leave behind what is familiar and step toward something I do not yet fully understand. Give me courage as one chapter of my life closes and another begins.

Help me carry forward the wisdom I have gained without becoming trapped by the past. Open my eyes to new opportunities, new relationships, and new ways that my life can have meaning and purpose.

Walk with me through this transition and give me faith to believe that unfamiliar roads can still lead somewhere beautiful. In Christ, Amen.
