A Prayer for Courage

Mighty God,

When fear tells me to retreat, give me courage to take the next faithful step.

Help me remember that courage does not mean I am never afraid, but that fear does not have to determine my choices. Strengthen me to speak when truth needs a voice, persevere when the road becomes difficult, and stand firm in what is good.

When my confidence fails, remind me that I do not walk alone.

Give me a brave heart, a clear mind, and a spirit anchored in faith.
