A Prayer for Healing and Endurance

A Christianity prayer for strength.

Holy God,

I pray for healing, but I also ask for strength while I wait. Bring relief to my intestines, calm the inflammation caused by Crohn’s disease, and help my body respond well to treatment and care.

On good days, teach me gratitude. On difficult days, give me endurance. When improvement is slow, protect my heart from despair.

Walk with me through appointments, treatments, setbacks, and victories.

May I never lose sight of the possibility of brighter days, and may hope rise within me each morning anew.
