Strength

A Prayer for Courage

Heavenly Father,

You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Today I ask You to fill my heart with courage so that I may face every challenge with confidence in Your presence.

When I feel overwhelmed, remind me that You are my refuge and my fortress. When I am tempted to give up, strengthen my resolve to keep walking in faith. Help me to remember that the same God who was faithful to Abraham, Moses, David, Esther, Paul, and countless others remains faithful today.

Grant me courage to stand for truth with humility, to love those who are difficult to love, and to forgive as You have forgiven me through Christ. May I never be ashamed of the Gospel, but live each day as a witness to Your grace and mercy.

Protect my heart from discouragement and my mind from fear. Let Your Holy Spirit strengthen me with wisdom, patience, and endurance so that I may remain faithful in every circumstance.

Whatever lies before me today, I know You walk beside me. Help me to trust Your promises more than my fears and Your voice more than the opinions of the world.

I place my confidence in You alone.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray.
