A Prayer for Patience

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your patience with me. So often I want immediate answers, quick solutions, and an easy path, yet You teach me to trust in Your perfect timing.

When I become frustrated, help me to remain calm. When I grow weary of waiting, remind me that You are always at work, even when I cannot see it. Teach me to wait with faith instead of fear and with hope instead of doubt.

Help me to show patience to my family, friends, neighbours, and even strangers. Let my words be gentle, my actions kind, and my heart slow to anger.

May the Holy Spirit produce in me the fruit of patience so that my life reflects the character of Jesus Christ.

I trust Your plans and place my future in Your hands.

In Jesus' name I pray.
