Lord of all wisdom,

Teach me patience when answers do not come quickly and circumstances refuse to move according to my plans.

Keep frustration from controlling my words and impatience from determining my decisions. Help me understand that some things require time to grow, heal, change, and become clear.

Give me grace with other people, patience with circumstances, and patience with myself.

While I wait for what I cannot hurry, continue shaping within me a peaceful heart, a steady spirit, and enduring faith.
