A Prayer for Forgiveness

Gracious Father,

I bring before You the things I wish I had done differently—the words I should not have spoken, the kindness I withheld, and the choices that caused hurt.

Forgive me, and do more than remove my guilt: change my heart. Give me humility to apologise where I have caused harm, courage to make amends where possible, and wisdom not to repeat the same mistakes.

Teach me also to extend to others the mercy I ask from You.

May forgiveness become not an excuse for yesterday, but the beginning of a better tomorrow.
