Forgiveness

A Prayer for Forgiveness

Merciful Father,

I come before You with humility, acknowledging my sins and my need for Your mercy. Thank You for loving me even when I have fallen short of Your glory.

Cleanse my heart from pride, selfishness, anger, and every sin that separates me from You. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Teach me not only to receive Your forgiveness but also to extend forgiveness to others, just as Christ has forgiven me. Remove bitterness from my heart and replace it with compassion, patience, and love.

Help me to turn away from temptation and to walk each day in obedience to Your Word. Let Your Holy Spirit guide my thoughts, my decisions, and my relationships.

Thank You for the grace made possible through Jesus Christ and for the hope of new beginnings. May my life be a testimony to Your mercy and transforming love.
