Strength

A Prayer for Courage After Failure

A Christianity prayer for strength.

Merciful Lord, when I have failed or fallen short of what I hoped to achieve, keep disappointment from defining who I am. Give me humility to learn from my mistakes without allowing regret to convince me that I cannot begin again.

Show me what this experience can teach me and give me courage to try again with greater wisdom. Help me make amends where necessary and leave behind the mistakes that cannot be changed.

Turn failure into growth, disappointment into determination, and yesterday's lessons into wisdom for tomorrow.

Through Your Son, Jesus Christ, Amen.
