A Prayer When You Feel Alone

A Christianity prayer for mental illness.

Heavenly Lord, Creator of the Universe, when loneliness surrounds me and I feel distant from the people around me, draw close to my heart. Remind me that even in the quietest moments, I am seen, known, and loved by You.

Give me courage to reach out rather than withdraw, and lead me toward people who bring kindness, understanding, and genuine friendship into my life. Help me also recognize those who may be lonely themselves and give me a compassionate heart toward them.

Turn this season of loneliness into a time of deeper faith, greater understanding, and renewed hope. Through Your Son, Jesus Christ, Amen.
