Before Work

Prayer Before Work

Lord, bless the work of my hands today.

As I go about my duties,
may I do them with integrity and care.
May I serve those around me with patience.
May I find meaning in even the smallest task.

When I am frustrated, give me calm.
When I am tired, give me strength.
When I am tempted to cut corners, give me courage to do what is right.

Let my work be an act of worship,
a small offering placed upon the altar of this ordinary day.

Amen.
