A Prayer After Losing Someone You Love

A Christianity prayer for loss of a loved one.

Heavenly Father, my heart is heavy with the loss of someone I deeply loved. Their absence has left a space in my life that words cannot fully describe, and I ask You to remain close to me as I learn to live with this sorrow.

Thank You for every moment we shared, every conversation, every act of kindness, and every memory that remains with me. Help me treasure what was beautiful without allowing the pain of their absence to overwhelm the gratitude I feel for having known them.

When grief comes unexpectedly, give me strength to face it rather than hide from it. Carry me through the difficult days and gradually restore peace and hope within my heart.
