God of all comfort,

Draw near to those whose hearts are heavy with grief. When memories bring tears and the absence of someone dearly loved feels unbearable, surround them with Your tenderness and peace.

Give them strength for today without asking them to carry tomorrow before it comes. Let loving memories become treasures rather than wounds, and place compassionate people beside them when the loneliness feels greatest.

Through the darkness of loss, keep a small light of hope burning within them, and remind them that love leaves a mark that death cannot erase.
