A Christianity prayer for loss of a loved one.

Gracious Lord, Creator of Heaven and Earth, grief has changed the landscape of my life, and I know that some memories will always carry both love and sadness. Help me not to rush the process of healing, but gently lead me toward peace one day at a time.

Teach me to remember without being consumed by sorrow and to move forward without feeling that I am abandoning the past. Let gratitude for the life we shared gradually become stronger than the pain of saying goodbye.

Renew my hope, restore joy when the time is right, and keep my heart anchored in Your love and the promise we have in Christ. Through Your Son, Jesus Christ, Amen.
