A Prayer for a New Job

A Christianity prayer for guidance.

Heavenly Lord, thank You for the opportunity to begin a new job and enter a new chapter of my working life. As I learn unfamiliar responsibilities and meet new people, give me confidence without arrogance and humility without fear.

Help me learn from those with greater experience and not become discouraged when I make mistakes along the way. Give me patience with myself as I grow into the role and wisdom to ask questions when I do not understand.

May I become known as someone who is trustworthy, hardworking, respectful, and willing to help others. In Jesus' name, Amen.
