Guidance

A Prayer for Guidance Toward the Right Opportunity

A Christianity prayer for guidance.

Lord God,

When new opportunities appear before me, help me recognize which ones are worth pursuing. Not every open door is necessarily the right door, so give me patience to look beyond excitement and consider where each path may lead.

Guide me toward opportunities that allow me to use my abilities well, grow in character, serve others, and build something worthwhile. Protect me from choices driven only by pride, impatience, or the desire for quick success.

When a good opportunity comes, give me courage not to let fear prevent me from stepping forward.

In the name of Jesus, Amen.
