A Prayer for Guidance in a Difficult Choice

A Christianity prayer for guidance.

Merciful Father, the decision before me is difficult because there is no simple answer. Give me wisdom to consider how my choice will affect not only myself, but also the people whose lives may be touched by it.

Keep selfishness, fear, anger, and pressure from speaking louder than wisdom. Help me act with compassion without abandoning truth, and with courage without losing humility.

When I have considered everything carefully, give me peace in making the decision and strength to accept the responsibilities that come with it. In Christ, Amen.
