A Prayer Before Making an Important Decision

A Christianity prayer for guidance.

Heavenly Father,

I have an important decision before me, and I do not want to choose carelessly. Give me a clear mind, a patient heart, and the wisdom to consider both the immediate consequences and what this choice may mean for the future.

Help me recognize what I truly value and keep pride, pressure, and fear from controlling my judgment. If I need more information, give me patience to seek it before deciding.

When the time comes to choose, give me confidence to make the best decision I can and peace to move forward without endlessly looking backward.
