A Prayer to Let Go of a Difficult Day

A Christianity prayer for before sleep.

Loving Father, today did not happen exactly as I hoped, and there are things weighing heavily upon my heart tonight. Help me release the disappointments, mistakes, frustrations, and painful moments that I have been carrying.

Give me grace to forgive those who hurt me and humility to seek forgiveness where I have hurt others. Teach me not to carry today's anger or regret into tomorrow.

Restore my heart as I sleep and give me renewed hope for what tomorrow may bring. In Jesus' name, Amen.
