A Christianity prayer for illness.

Holy God,

Bring Your healing mercy to my body. Strengthen my intestines, calm inflammation, and support the restoration of tissues that have been injured or weakened.

Give my body the nourishment, rest, and medical care it needs to recover. Grant wisdom to those treating me and patience to those supporting me.

When progress comes slowly, keep discouragement from taking root within me.

May healing unfold day by day, and may I recognise every improvement, however small, as another reason for gratitude and hope.
