Great Physician Father,

You know every place within my intestines that has been affected by disease. I place my body into Your loving care and ask for healing, restoration, and relief.

Support the natural processes of healing within me and guide the medical care I receive. Strengthen what has become weak and bring greater stability to my health.

When progress seems small, help me recognise that recovery can come one step at a time.

Give me courage to continue, wisdom to care for myself well, and hope that remains stronger than discouragement.
