Merciful God,

Thank You that yesterday does not have to determine tomorrow. Where I have failed, teach me. Where I have been wounded, restore me. Where I have wandered, guide me toward a better path.

Give me courage to release what cannot be changed and wisdom to change what still can be. Let this new beginning be shaped by humility, kindness, faith, and purpose.

May I step into what lies ahead without being imprisoned by what lies behind.
