A Prayer After Losing a Job

A Christianity prayer for guidance.

Merciful Father, losing my job has brought uncertainty into my life, and I do not yet know what will come next. Help me remember that the loss of a position does not mean the loss of my abilities, dignity, or potential.

Provide for my needs while I search for another opportunity and give me perseverance when the process becomes discouraging. Lead me toward people, resources, and opportunities that can help me move forward.

Turn this unexpected ending into the beginning of a new chapter, and give me courage to believe that meaningful work can be found again. In Christ, Amen.
