Guidance

A Prayer for God's Guidance

A Christianity prayer for guidance.

Holy God,

There are times when I cannot clearly see which direction I should take. Quiet the distractions around me and give me wisdom to recognize what is good, truthful, and right.

Help me consider my choices carefully rather than acting only from fear, impatience, or temporary emotion. Place wise and trustworthy people around me whose counsel can help me see what I may have overlooked.

Guide my steps and give me courage to follow the path that leads toward goodness, peace, and purpose.

In Jesus' name, Amen.
