Peace

A Prayer for God's Protection Through Life

A Christianity prayer for peace.

Creator of Heaven and Earth, from the smallest living thing to the farthest stars, all creation speaks of a world greater than I can comprehend. In the midst of this vast universe, I am grateful that I can come before You with the concerns of my own life.

Guide me through roads I understand and those I never expected to travel. Protect me from dangers I can recognize, give me wisdom concerning risks I cannot easily see, and place good people beside me throughout my journey.

May I live courageously rather than fearfully, wisely rather than recklessly, and gratefully for every day I am given.

Through Your Son, Jesus Christ, Amen.
