A Prayer for a Child's Protection

A Christianity prayer for peace.

Loving Father, I place this precious child into Your hands and ask You to watch over every step of their journey. Protect them as they learn, play, travel, make friends, and discover the world around them.

Give wisdom to the parents, teachers, carers, and others entrusted with their wellbeing. Surround this child with people who will encourage what is good, recognize when something is wrong, and treat them with patience and kindness.

May this child grow in safety, confidence, wisdom, compassion, and faith, always knowing how deeply they are loved. In Christ, Amen.
