A Prayer for Protection During a Storm

A Christianity prayer for peace.

Heavenly Lord, as the storm gathers around us, be our refuge and give us wisdom to keep ourselves and others safe. Protect our homes and communities, and watch over everyone who may be exposed to danger.

Give courage and clear judgment to emergency workers and all those who go out to help others while conditions are dangerous. Comfort those who are frightened and help neighbours look after one another.

When the storm has passed, give us grateful hearts and strength to help those who may have suffered loss. Through Your Son, Jesus Christ, Amen.
