A Christianity prayer for healing.

Lord God, as I prepare for surgery, I place my fears and concerns into Your hands. Calm my heart and give me peace as I face what lies ahead.

Guide the hands of the surgeons and give wisdom to every doctor, nurse, and medical professional involved in my care. Help them make good decisions and carry out their work with skill, compassion, and attention.

Give my body strength through the procedure and help my recovery progress safely afterward. May I face each step with courage, knowing that I can turn to You in every moment.

Through Your Son, Jesus Christ, Amen.
