A Prayer for God's Guidance

Heavenly Father,

You are the Shepherd who lovingly leads Your people in paths of righteousness. Today I come before You seeking Your wisdom and direction for every decision I must make.

Your Word declares that if anyone lacks wisdom, they should ask You, for You give generously without finding fault. Therefore, I ask You to fill my heart with discernment and my mind with understanding. Close every door that is not according to Your will, and open the doors You have prepared for me.

Protect me from rushing ahead in my own strength or following the opinions of the world instead of Your truth. Teach me to wait patiently upon You, trusting that Your timing is always perfect.

May every choice I make honour Jesus Christ and reflect Your love, justice, mercy, and holiness. Help me to be a light wherever I go, showing kindness, humility, and compassion to everyone I meet.

As I walk through this day, let Your Holy Spirit guide my thoughts, my words, and my actions. Give me confidence to obey You even when the path is difficult, knowing that You are always with me.

I place my future into Your faithful hands.
