Thanksgiving

A Prayer of Gratitude

Gracious Creator,

Today I pause to give thanks. Thank You for the gift of life, for every breath I take, for every opportunity to grow, and for every blessing—both seen and unseen.

Thank You for family, friends, teachers, mentors, and even strangers whose kindness has touched my life. Thank You for the lessons hidden within difficulties and the joy found in moments of peace.

Guard me against becoming ungrateful or taking Your gifts for granted. Open my eyes to the beauty that surrounds me each day—the warmth of the sun, the laughter of children, the comfort of friendship, and the hope that tomorrow brings.

May gratitude shape my attitude, generosity guide my actions, and compassion fill my heart. Let me become a source of encouragement to others, sharing freely the kindness I have received.

Accept this prayer as an expression of sincere thankfulness, and help me live each day with a grateful heart.
