Heart Sutra (Excerpt)

Form is emptiness,
emptiness is form.

Emptiness is not other than form,
form is not other than emptiness.

In the same way,
feelings, perceptions,
formations, and consciousness
are empty.

All phenomena are emptiness;
without characteristic;
without birth, without cessation;
without defilement, without separation from defilement;
without decrease, without increase.

Therefore, in emptiness
there is no form, no feelings,
no perceptions, no formations,
no consciousness.
