Blessing

A Prayer for Teachers

A Christianity prayer for blessing.

God of wisdom,

Bless the teachers who educate, encourage, challenge, and inspire.

Give them patience with every learner, creativity when familiar approaches do not work, and wisdom to recognise the potential hidden within each student.

Strengthen teachers when their responsibilities become heavy, and remind them that small words of encouragement can remain in a person's heart for years.

May their classrooms be places of curiosity, respect, discovery, and belonging.

Bless their work, renew their enthusiasm, and let the knowledge they share help build wiser and more compassionate generations.

Amen.
