A Prayer for Strength During a Long Illness

A Christianity prayer for healing.

Almighty God, when illness continues for longer than I hoped and each day becomes difficult, give me strength to keep moving forward. Help me face today without becoming overwhelmed by everything that may happen tomorrow.

Give me patience during setbacks and gratitude for every sign of progress, however small it may seem. Help me accept support when I need it and give wisdom to those helping me through my recovery.

When I feel exhausted or discouraged, renew my courage and remind me that hope can remain even during the hardest seasons of life. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
